The cold email that landed me a month in Tortola at a fraction of the price

I sent this pitch email (below) to the contact/host of the property on VRBO. She replied quickly and suggested I reach out from their rental website (instead of VRBO, which has high fees and monitors the conversations on its platform). She spoke to the owners, who accepted my offer and mentioned they had many writers stay at the property over the years.

The villa managers reached out multiple times to offer help with car rentals, groceries for the villa, and arranging cleaning services. A friendly lady named Pinky met me at the villa to show me around. Overall, it’s been a great experience so far.
