What thought pops up in your head every time you get mad or frustrated? Maybe you’re someone who simply sees red until it fades over time. Maybe you feel like you are going to explode if you don’t yell, punch something, or distract yourself with social media. Or maybe you find your brain repeating a thought over and over like “fuck this” or “I don’t even care” or “this is stupid; I don’t need this.”

I fall in to the last category of phrases repeating over and over, and in the last few years there has been one specific phrase/idea that wouldn’t quit, and often didn’t even fit the situation. It was this phrase that fueled my decision to go back to college.
